How to delete and reinstall apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch — Apple Support


Cleaning up your Home screen? Here’s how to delete
an app you no longer use, or bring back an app
you might miss. Let’s start with
deleting an app. To do this, lightly touch
and hold an app until it jiggles, and tap the X
in the top left corner of the app you’d like to delete. Deleting an app
will remove all content associated with the app. Now just tap Delete
and the app will be uninstalled. Next, tap the Home button to lock your apps
back into place. Now let’s look at
how to reinstall an app from the App Store. To start, tap the App Store. Tap your photo
to open your account, and tap Purchased. Here you’ll see a list of all
apps that you’ve ever downloaded using your Apple ID, and are still available
in the App Store. To quickly find an app that
isn’t already on your phone, tap Not on this iPhone, and tap the download icon

  2. Why don't you allow us to delete Apps like Twitter? I hate the Twitter app and cannot get rid of it. It's like a virus.

  3. The reinstall button does not work for me.
    Edit: Whenever I tap the cloud with the arrow going down it starts to do that loading circle then goes back to that cloud with an arrow logo.
