Controlling the Bumble Bee 25-C

hi it's John Miller we're here at the hive warehouse and we just got back from NAB where we introduced the bumblebee 25c we've already started getting questions about how you control the bumblebee 25c this is actually a pretty unique product for us here at hive it has two ways of control one is through a smartphone app so you can either use your iPhone or your Android and the other is through DMX control so the first method for controlling the bulb will be 25c is through your smartphone if you're an iPhone user you go to the Apple Store you download our hive shot app that's hive sh ot connect to the light that you're trying to control and then just change the settings easily using that if you're an Android user exact same process where you go to the Google Play Store download that hive shot app and again connect to the light and adjust your settings using the app the other way to control the bumblebee 25c is through wired DMX on the back of all the bumblebee 25 C's we have mini XLR in and out in three pin mini XLR which allows you to run full dmx512 controls you can take your mini XLR s plug them either directly into the board or using a mini XLR – full sized XLR adapter if required once you have your light connected to your dmx board the controls are fairly simple four channels of control your first channel is going to be output second channel is going to be your color temperature third channels your saturation and then your fourth channel is he'll the back of the bumblebee 25c has both in and out XLR sockets this allows you to daisy chain units together meaning even the simplest of dmx boards can control over a hundred units
